The beauty of the LT1 is it's self-bleeding of air in the coolant system (a long time problem with V8 conversions).
There is a one way air valve on the highest part of the intake that bleeds off air that gets into the system. This is automatic and gets rid of vapor log that causes other V8's to over heat when they are in the Fiero.
That's one of the main reasons that LT1s are so popular in the kit car circles.
